Our work is inspired and informed by John Dewey’s inquiry-based approach in education, David Kolb’s experiential learning theory, Ruth Cohn’s pedagogical concept of Theme-Centered Interaction (TCI), Jack Mezirow’s transformative learning theory, and Allen Tough’s and Malcolm Knowles’s concept of self-directed learning.
